:: Post No. 20: Annihilation is for the Sake of Favouring the Lover and not Destroying Him ::

Ya Ali Madad! This post has four parts.

Part 1. Knowledge Section

Let us reflect on Siraj: Lamp:

"One of the noble names of the holy Prophet is a "luminous lamp" (sirâjan munirâ, 33:46). This means that those fortunate souls who are annihilated in the Prophet and the Imam as a result of true love, are transformed into light forever, just as cosmic fuel being cast into the sun turns into light. "

Let us reflect on Malik: King:

"When and where a sâlik becomes extremely close to God, he cannot remain so without being annihilated in His manifestation. However, due to this annihilation the individuality of an ârif does not cease. For instance, the holy Prophet had become "fanâ' fillâh" at the rank of miraj, but nobody knew this secret except the ârifs. Thus, the righteous in paradise, will be annihilated in the Omnipotent Sovereign due to that special closeness and will become kings, because this annihilation is for the sake of favouring the lover and not destroying him!"

True lovers are bestowed with existence, i.e., baqa billah, after annihilation, fana fillah. This is the great reward of being a true lover of the Holy Imam.

Part 2. Affirmation of Baiyat:
Let us also reaffirm our baiyat to our Holy 50th Imam, NOOR Mawlana Shah Rahim Al-Hussaini Hazar Imam by reciting the Shahada from the second part of our Holy Dua:

"La ilaha illallah, Muhammadur-Rasoolullah, 'Aliyyun Amirul-Mu'mineen 'Aliyullah
Mawlana Shah Rahim ul Hussaini, Al-Imamul Hazarul Maujood."

"There is no deity except Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, 'Ali - the master of believers - is from Allah. Our Lord Shah Rahim Al-Hussaini is our present and living Imam"

Shukran wa Mubarak, Shukran wa Mubarak, Shukran wa Mubarak

Part 3. Dhikr
Let us perform dhikr to invoke infinite blessings:

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Ya Ali Ya Muhammad, Ya Muhammad Ya Ali
I call upon the Light of Ali and the Light of Muhammad through this prayer

Part 4. Angelic Salwat
Let us recite angelic salwats to invoke Divine grace and mercy.
