:: Post No. 18: Our Spiritual Elevation Depends Upon the Holy Imams ::

Tuesday, Sep. 16, 2025

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

Ya Ali Madad! This post has three parts.

1. Knowledge Section;
2. The Ismaili Shahada; and
3. Angelic Salwat Dhikr.

Part 1: Teaching of al-Muayyyad fid-Din al-Shirazi

Here is an excerpt from Lecture 2, The Real Names of God, from the book titled 'Life and Lectures of the Grand Missionary Al-Muayyad-Fid-Din Al-Shirazi' (pp.59-60):

"Just as the arteries of the human body depend for the supply of blood to the heart, in the same way, in spiritual matters also we depend for guidance on the Imam of the time who is the heart of the 'shariat'. The Holy Quran says, "We shall show you our signs in the world and among yourselves in order that the truth may become clear to you." In short, just as our physical existence depends upon our hearts, our spiritual elevation depends upon the Imams. The Holy Quran says, "There will come the day when we shall call every generation to appear before us with their Imams!" "

Part 2: The Ismaili Shahada

In the second part of our Holy Dua, we recite the Ismaili Shahada as follows:

"La ilaha illallah, Muhammadur-Rasoolullah, 'Aliyyun Amirul-Mu'mineen 'Aliyullah
Mawlana Shah Rahim ul Hussaini, Al-Imamul Hazarul Maujood."

"There is no deity except Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, 'Ali - the master of believers - is from Allah. Our Lord Shah Rahim Al-Hussaini is our present and living Imam"

Let us first recite the Ismaili Shahada to feel the presence of Noor Mowlana Hazar Imam and then use this energy to recite the Angleic Salwat!

Part 3. Angelic Salwat
Let us recite angelic salwats to invoke Divine grace and mercy.
