Prayer Card No. 29: Yâ Ali, Yâ Qadir, and Pir-Shâh Tasbis

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

Ya Ali Madad. Let us first declare our noble intentions which are listed below. You may add your own list after this. Then we will say the prayer for the day and the anchor prayer.

Ya NOOR Mowlana Hazar Imam, we pray for:

  1. The well being of the whole NOORANI Family
  2. Mushkil Asaan for the global Jamat
  3. Material, spiritual & intellectual upliftment of the global Jamat
  4. Salvation of all departed souls
  5. Peace for the whole humanity

Let us reflect on the 36th and the 69th beautiful Divine Name:

036 Al-'Ali The Most High He who is the most high. Yâ 'Ali
069 Al Qadir The Mighty One He who is able to do anything in the way He wills. He only has to say "Be, and it is". Yâ Qadir

The first two aya of Surah Baqarah are: Alif-Laaam-Miim ; Zaalikal-Kitaabu laa rayba fiih. Hudal-lil-Muttaqiin (A. L. M. This is the Book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear God) (2:1-2). Now let us examine the tawil of these aya and relate them to the personality of Mawlâ Ali and Divine names of Allah.

"Mawlâ Ali says in his Khutbatu'l-bayân: "I am that Book in which there is no doubt. I am the beautiful names which God has commanded to invoke Him (7:180)." (Kawkab, p. 200). There is no doubt that the great secret of abridged letters, such as ALM is Ali. Thus, Mawlâ Ali is that Book in which there is nothing but certainty." [Source: A Thousand Wisdoms, Tawil No. 622]

Therefore, for today's session, let us use a bouquet of Yâ Ali, Yâ Qadir, and Pir-Shâh tasbis to invoke He who is the Most High and the Most Powerful in terms of Soul and Light.

Noor Mowlana Aga Ali Shah Maa Baap has said that if a person says 40 beads of Pir-Shâh and bestows the benefit to the whole Jamat, then He will reward him/her the benefit of building a Darkhana. Pir refers to the Light of the Holy Prophet and Shah refers to the Light of Hazrat Ali. At present, NOOR Mowlana Hazar Imam holds the rank of Shah and Pir. Therefore, this tasbi is equivalent to Yâ Muhammad, Yâ Ali.
