"Fain would they put out the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light however much the disbelievers are averse." — Holy Qur'an 61:8
Holy Quran Verses from Pickthall and Yusufali's Translation
In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
|Yusufali:||By (the Token of) Time (through the ages),|
|Pickthall:||By the declining day,|
|Yusufali:||Verily Man is in loss,|
|Pickthall:||Lo! man is a state of loss,|
|Yusufali:||Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy.|
|Pickthall:||Save those who believe and do good works, and exhort one another to truth and exhort one another to endurance.|
Let us pray (Sura 20, Ayat 114) 'Ya Rabbi Zidni Ilma!' ('O Lord! Increase me in knowledge.') and seek spiritual help (ta'yid) to understand our great faith.
