"O mankind! Now hath a proof from your Lord come unto you, and We have sent down unto you a clear light." — Holy Qur'an 4:175
Holy Quran Verses from Pickthall's Translation
In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
|101.002||What is the Calamity?|
|101.003||Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is!|
|101.004||A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths|
|101.005||And the mountains will become as carded wool.|
|101.006||Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works),|
|101.007||He will live a pleasant life.|
|101.008||But as for him whose scales are light,|
|101.009||A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother,|
|101.010||Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is! -|
Let us pray (Sura 20, Ayat 114) 'Ya Rabbi Zidni Ilma!' ('O Lord! Increase me in knowledge.') and seek spiritual help (ta'yid) to understand our great faith.
