Zikr & Tasbi: Divine Remembrance

Every day, we face many material, spiritual and intellectual difficulties. The path of religion teaches that the most certain way to overcome these difficulties is through abundant prayers and Divine Remembrance. This approach creates courage, strength, inspiration and pure intention in one's being. In Khutba 226 (p.193) Nahjul Balagha: Sermons, letters and saying of Hazrat Ali (a.s.), published by Tahrike Tarsile Quran, New York, 1981), Hazrat Ali (a.s.) has described the rewards of Divine Remembrance as follows:

"Verily God has given His Remembrance the honour and prestige of bring Divine Light to human minds. With its help those who are deaf to reasoning will be able to hear and understand His Orders; those who were blind to realities and truth will see and realize the good that religion teaches and those who were behaving like enemies of God will become obedient and submissive."

Let us recite these prayers for the purification and upliftment of our souls. May these exercises lead to the dawning of light (Noor) in our souls. Ameen.
