Giryah-u zâri, Moti Venti and Salwat Project for Navroz 2008
Golden Jubilee Darbar in Dubai and Golden Noorani Didar in our Foreheads
Tuesday, March 11, 2008 to Friday, March 21, 2008

Spark No. 7 :: Monday, March 17, 2008

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

Ya Ali Madad. I have articulated this project for Navroz 2008 to increase yearning for the Holy Didar of our beloved Noor Mowlana Hazar Imam. The ten postings for this project have the following components: (1) a prayer card for the well being and health our most beloved NOOR Mowlana Hazar Imam and his family, the upliftment the global Jamat, global Muslim community, and humanity at large, and the salvation of all departed souls; (2) knowledge about Giryah-u zari; (3) 5-verses of Moti Venti presented sequentially; and (4) angelic salwat. On the most auspicious occasion of the upcoming Idd-e-Navroz of this momentous Golden Jubilee year, may the rays of the Light of our beloved NOOR Mowlana Hazar Imam enrich and empower each and every being in different spheres of existence in innumerable ways. Ameen.

Part 1: Prayer Card for the Well-being and Health of the Whole Noorani Family

Let us first declare our noble intentions and then invoke the angelic salwat for exoteric and esoteric purposes:

Ya Ali, Ya NOOR Mowlana Shah Karim Al-Hussaini Hazar Imam, we pray for:

  1. The well being and health of the whole NOORANI family;
  2. Protection from the elements of dross and darkness;
  3. Sunshine in hearts, Light in our foreheads and the blessing of the inner vision of the Truth;
  4. Mushkil Aasan and material, spiritual & intellectual upliftment of the global Jamat, the global Muslim community and humanity at large;
  5. Salvation of all departed souls;
  6. Empowerment of our children with the correct understanding of our holy faith; and
  7. External and internal peace for the whole humanity.

Part 2: Knowledge Component:

The Mechanism of Giryah-u zâri: "In studying nature you might have thought about the source of rain and how does it come thence? Yes, the source of rain is the ocean, but in this connection the miracles of the sun are very wonderous and great. The sun emits and rediates its hot rays on the surface of the ocean and rarifies the dense stock of water, and then raises it in the form of clouds through evaporation and then causes it to spread in the atmosphere. In this process apparently the wind also helps, but in reality the very movement of the wind is due to the sun itself. Thus it is the sun itself which does all this work and as a result of which the rain falls.

The same is the case of a spiritual rainfall upon a mu'min which is caused entirely through the light of sun of the spiritual world. Thus imagination, remembrance, thinking and love of the light of Imamat are such as if the resplendent rays of the spiritual sun are falling on the surface of the ocean of the mu'min's existence, thereby the sky of the heart and the mind are overcast with dark clouds of the feelings and emotions of the luminous (noorani) didar, and through the eyes the rain of pearls begins to fall, wherein lies the prosperity of the spirit and spiritualism." 0 Lord, I am frail and anxious,
and my eyes are brimful of tears.
You have innumerable (spiritual) wives who adore you.
Please recognize my suffering.
Have mercy on me, my Lord.
I am helpless and dependent on you.

0 Lord, How many times shall I entreat (plead to) Thee?
You are the King of bliss.
Have pity on me and meet me,
so that my honour is preserved.

I am helpless and dependent on you.

0 Lord, I shall bring along (spiritual) fragrant things
and whatever (spiritual) ornaments required.
If I can find you,
I shall appear magnificently adorned (spiritually).
Have mercy on me, my Lord.
I am helpless and dependent on you.

0 Lord, I have been imploring you since the beginning
(the time I have been separated from you)
and I remember you with every breath.
If I feel your presence in every cell of my body,
then all my sins will vanish.
Have mercy on me, my Lord.
I am helpless and dependent on you.

Part 4: Angelic Salwat

"It is mentioned in verse (33:33): "O you the people of the house (of the Prophet)! Verily Allah intends but to keep off from you (every kind of) uncleanness and purify you with a thorough purification." By the people of the house or ahl-i bayt are meant the holy Prophet himself, Hazrat Ali, Hazrat Fatimah, Hazrat Hasan and Hazrat Husayn. (Muslim, IV, 1883; Tirmidhi, V, 663)" [Source: Tawil 144: A Thousand Wisdoms]

Now let us recite angelic salwats to invoke Divine grace, mercy and internal purification.
