Posting No. 1: Creation of Light (Noor) in the Heart (Soul) Through Divine Remembrance
Date: July 11, 2004

Ya Ali Madad. In order to harness the Light of NOOR Mowlana Murtazâ Ali (a.s.), please reflect on the gems of wisdom from verse 91 of Kalâmê Mowlâ:

Kalâm khudâekâ hay dilkee dâru,
kalâm padnêsê dil sahee howê changâ
dil roshan howê nur nurânee,
jo pahêlê gunâh seeâheesê rangâ

The sayings of God are a healing of the heart.
By reciting the sayings, the heart becomes joyous and pure.
The heart becomes totally immersed in Light,
and its sinful darkness is dispelled.

Bhâi sab daradkee dâru leekhee,
pan dilkê daradkee dâru hay yêh
kalâm khudâekâ yâd karo neet pado,
jeeyu(n) tum dil vasê rabkâ nêh .....91

O brother, there is a healing for every illness,
that of the heart lies in this (i.e., remembrance of His words).
Remember the sayings of God and recite them daily
and His love will possess your heart. .....(91)

Peace, light, barakat, taid, and didar

Posting No. 2: Relationship Between Enlightenment, Lawful Consumption and Firm Faith
Date: July 14, 2004

Ya Ali Madad. "God says (in the Holy Quran): "God commands you to pay back the 'amanat' to their owners" (Surah 4, Ayat 58). In order to create the Light of NOOR Mowlana Murtazâ Ali (a.s.) within oneself, it is necessary to first submit dasond because it is an 'amanat' of God. Now let us study the tight connection between enlightenment, lawful consumption and firm faith, and the conseqences of unlawful consumption, as described in verse 129 of Kalâmê Mowlâ:

Dilkee roshani hay halâl khanêsê,
chêto bhâi karo âhâr halâl
uskâ iman dil donu(n) andhêrâ,
jo koee khâvê harâm mâl

The enlightenment of the heart comes from lawful consumption,
therefore brothers, be heedful and consume what is lawful.
The Imaan (Faith) and heart is blinded
of the one who consumes unlawful property.

ees ghat mindarmê (n) diva dil hay,
jo huva andhêrâ to imanki khot
huee andhêri nagri koi keesê na sujê,
pânch chor milkar luntê chotâ chot .....129

In this body the Divine Lamp is the heart.
If this lamp is extinguished, your Imaan will be at a loss.
When the bodily city is darkened thus, nothing worthwhile can happen
and the five thieves i.e., lust, anger, greed, pride and temptation will come and meet from all directions and loot away everything worthwhile. .....129

Posting No. 3: Luminous Prayer (bandagi) at a Luminous Time leads to Purity
Date: July 16, 2004

Ya Ali Madad. The mechanism for creating the Light of NOOR Mowlana Murtazâ Ali (a.s.) within oneself is the practice of luminous prayer (bandagi) (with a luminous word (bol) if you are blessed with it) at a luminous time (early hours of the morning). The reward of this practice (and of abundant remembrance (dhikr) during the rest of of the day and night) leads to purification of the soul and enlightenment, as described in verse 162 of Kalâmê Mowlâ:

Badee fajar jagê nê bandagi karê,
to tu(n) nêkee kamâyâ
jo ees vêrâe jâgyâ,
so bandageesê nêkee pâyâ

The one who remains awake in the early hours of the morning and performs his special luminous prayer (bandagi),
has indeed earned for himself purity.
If he remains awake at this time,
he has attained purity through luminous prayer (bandagi).

subu sâdak jâgo bhâi,
karo zikr ilâhi
namâz tasbi bandagisêthi,
hovê dil safâee .....162

Remain awake at the early hours of the morning brothers,
and perform the luminous remembrance of God.
Through prayers (namaz, Du'a), divine remembrance (dhikr, recitation of tasbis), and luminous prayers (bandagi)
the heart is purified.

Peace, light, barakat, taid, and didar

Posting No. 4: Enlighten Your Grave (i.e., the Soul Within Your Living Body)
Date: July 19, 2004

Ya Ali Madad. The soul is created and given a physical form. Therefore, the living body is a grave for the soul. The great saints struggled day and night to purify their souls and project them from their bodies into the higher world. In verse 167 of of Kalâmê Mowlâ, NOOR Mowlana Murtazâ Ali (a.s.) explains this concept:

Roshan kar bhâi kabar têri,
kê neet uth namâz kar beech rêan andhêree
andhêree rêan beech namaz kiasê,
roshan howê sahee kaber têree

Enlighten your grave (i.e., the soul within your living body), brother,
wake up always and perform luminous prayers in the middle of the night.
In the night, having performed your luminous prayer,
your grave will truly be enlightened.

namâz nafal kâr âdhee râtku(n),
khudâkê been na bujê koye
Mowlâ farmâve kê kaber têri,
ees namâzsê sahee roshan hoye .....167

Perform your prayers (namaz, Dua) and luminous prayer (bandagi) in the middle of the night
in such a manner that nobody else besides God knows.
Mowlanâ Murtazâ Ali (a.s.) says that your grave (i.e., the soul within your living body),
will be truly enlightened by such luminous prayer. .....167

Posting No. 5: Luminous Prayer (Bandagi) Creates Radiance on a Believer's Face
Date: July 21, 2004

Ya Ali Madad. The barakat of luminous prayers (bandagi) leads to radiance on a practising believer's face as explained in verse 168 NOOR Mowlana Murtazâ Ali (a.s.)'s Kalâmê Mowlâ:

Momankê moho upar nur adkêrâ,
jo beech rât uth karê kamâee
râtkee bandagee dinmê(n) deesê,
kê karanhârkê moho upar howê roshânaee

On the face of a believer (momin) will be radiant with Light (Noor)
if he/she wakes up in the middle of the night to gain profit through luminous prayers.
The barakat of luminous prayers (bandagi) will be seen during the day,
and the face of the practising momin will be radiant.

Qiyâmatkê din koee moho kâlê,
koee moho howê safêd
wey jeenê ratme(n) bandagi keetee,
sâchê seedaksê unê pâee umêd .....168

On the Day of Judgement (Qiyaamaa),
some faces will be dark, others will be radiant.
Those who have performed luminous prayers (bandagi) at night
with true conviction, will attain their desire .....168
