2017 — The Year for Higher Spiritual Enlightenment

Diamond Jubilee Spark :: Invoking Spiritual and Luminous Bounties from the Root Word Rabb (*R B B)

Enlightenment Post No. 15 :: Knowledge & Prayers for Advancement

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

Ya Ali Madad and Navroz Mubarak! The Diamond Jubilee of Noor Mowlana Shah Karim Al-Hussaini Hazar Imam (a.s.) is less than four months away. To keep up with the momentum, here is another enlightenment post to increase our knowledge and enhance our yearning through Dhikr and Angelic Salwat.

Navroz is a time for rejuvenation. In the Northern hemisphere, spring activates life in nature and fills one with hope, courage and inspiration. As each one of us exists in the worlds of matter, thoughts, dreams, soul and intellect, it is necessary to assess our performance in each component of our existence.

The Idd-e-Navroz card developed by Al-Waez Rai Amiraly Amlani in 2001 is a strong reminder for the need of balance between the physical, spiritual and intellectual components of our existence. Obviously, the search for Light (Noor), the highest form of Intellect, should be our top priority. May you be blessed with success in all components of your existence. Ameen.

In this enlightenment post, I would like to present ten Qur'anic ayats of supplication from the root word Rabb (*R B B) which invoke great spiritual and luminous bounties. The purpose of presenting these ayats is to create awareness of how to set priorities and ask for the bestowal of gifts which are vital to our prosperity in this world and in the hereafter.

Allah has given clear instructions for setting our agenda for the time which is allocated to us in this world so let us really focus and reset priorities on the auspicious occasion of Idd-e-Navroz 2017 in context of the firman of Noor Mowlana Hazar Imam made in Mumbai on September 27, 1973 where he said:

"...that so long as you are alive, every day is a day that must be lived, and in that day you must fulfil your responsibilities to the best of your ability. So do not let time pass without being aware that once it has passed, it is gone for ever. This is something you should all keep in mind."
