Subject: Anant Naa Nav Chhuga Verses and Divine Names for Day 49

Ya Ali Madad! The niyat of this global project is to present a nazrana of the recitation of 500 verses of Anant Akhado, 90 verses of Anant Naa Nav Chhuga and a bouquet of 99 dhikr tasbis derived from the Allah's Beautiful Names ('Asmaaa-'ul-Husnaa) to NOOR Mowlana Hazir Imam on the occasion of Idd-e-Navroz. The goal of this project is to create Sunshine in the hearts of all murids of the global Jamat. Your participation and generosity in the promotion of the cycle of well wishing for Ismaili Muslims, the global Muslim Community (the Ummah) and humanity at large is greatly appreciated. Each message of this 49-day project will have two parts: (1) A highlight of a verse from Anant Akhado or Anant Naa Nav Chhuga; and (2) A dhikr of two Divine Names. This project is part of a personal search and resources for organizing and conducting this project are accessible from the index page.   Let us first read the following esoteric list of noble wishes for 49 days because it is the basis of our ardent supplication to our beloved NOOR Mowlana Hazir Imam: In anticipation of the bounties of Idd-e-Navroz, Ya Mowla, Ya Wali, Ya Karim, Ya Ali, Ya NOOR Mowlana Hazir Imam: bless us with faith by sending the bounty of Ruhu'l-iman (i.e., spiritual and luminous particles of the soul of faith) into our personal worlds from your Pure Soul and Eternal Light; forgive our sins, mistakes and oversights and make us staunch, obedient (farman bardari) mu'mins; keep us on the Right Path, the path illuminated by the Light of Eternal Ali; purify our souls through the blessings derived from our additional dhikr and help us live a balanced life; make us regular in our morning and evening prayers; bless us with inspiration, strength, courage and conviction to practise luminous prayer (bandagi) at the luminous time (small watches of the night) with the luminious word (bol, ism-i azam or Ya Ali tasbi); bestow enlightenment to our souls and bless us with a 'golden noorani didar'; usher us in the abode of peace (Dar-as-Salaam) and grant us eternal existence. Ameen. Part 1: Recitation of Anant Akhado On the 49th day of the project, we will be reciting all the 10 verses of the ninth Chhugo of Anant Naa Nav Chhuga. In the last verse of the ninth chhugo, Pir Hasan Kabirdin pleades for the full acceptance of the turban with nine tussles while standing in front of Imam Islam Shah (a.s.). The whole secret of the eternal was folded in the turban with nine tussles. The Merciful Imam accepted the turban and returned it to the Holy Pir by placing the turban upon him! This was the final and ultimate victory for the Holy Pir. Pir Hasan Kabirdin, the submitted slave (sevak) and spiritual wife (nari) of Ali Zaman of his time, was finally perfected by the Holy Imam and his magnificent works of Anant Akhado and Anant Naa Nav Chhuga were completed accepted by the Holy Imam. This act also symbolizes that the Holy Pir reached monoreality and entered the abode of Peace (Daras Salaam). Al Hamdulillah! In this context, let us reflect on the quotation from of the 'Memoirs of Aga Khan' (p. 334) by Mowlana Sultan Muhammad Shah (a.s.): "I can only say to everyone who reads this book of mine that it is my profound conviction that man must never ignore and leave untended and undeveloped that spark of the Divine which is in him. The way to personal fulfilment, to individual reconciliation with the Universe that is about us, is comparatively easy for anyone who firmly and sincerely believes, as I do, that Divine Grace has given man in his own heart the possibilities of illumination and of Union with Reality. It is, however, far more important to attempt to offer some hope of spiritual sustenance to those many who, in this age in which the capacity of faith is nonexistent in the majority, long for something beyond themselves, even if it seems second-best. For them there is the possibility of finding strength of the spirit, comfort, and happiness in the contemplation of the infinite variety and beauty of the Universe."
