Footnote to verse 17:79 of the Holy Quran: "'Tahajjud' or getting wakeful in the night. This prayer is to be offered after midnight but before dawn. This is not compulsory but very strongly commended. The glorious position mentioned is the highest exaltation to which a mortal could rise. The Holy Prophet said that on the Day of Judgment he would be in the 'Maqame-Mahmood' (the position of the great Praise and Glory) and from there he would seek intercession for the sinners and the Lord will grant whatever he would command." With its help those who are deaf to reasoning will be able to hear and understand His Orders; those who were blind to realities and truth will see and realize the good that religion teaches and those who were behaving like enemies of God will become obedient and submissive."

Hazrat heard somebody repeating the passage of the Holy Quran "We belong to God and our return is towards Him", Hazrat said, "How true it is. Our saying that we belong to God indicates we accept Him as our Master, Owner and Lord. And when we say our return is towards God indicates that we accept our mortality."

Ya Ali Madad! The Anant Akhado has 38 verses containing the word 'dasond'. Twenty one verses occur in a block between verses 348 to 372. Nine out of the 12 verses recited today pertained to dasond. A verse linking submission of dasond and spiritual vision is presented below:

ehi moman sâchâji

In the fifth part of our Holy Dua, the following ayat from Surah 'Anfaal (Spoils of War) is recited:
|
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo
la takhoonoo Allaha waalrrasoola watakhoonoo
amanatikum waantum taAAlamoona (8:27)
|
O ye that believe! betray not the trust of God and the Apostle, nor misappropriate knowingly things entrusted to you. (8:27)
|
From an Islamic point of view, the two trusts that the Holy Prophet left with the Muslims are the Holy Quran and His Successor (Imam). These will remain together till the Day of Judgment.
Within our tariqah, the trust of dashond has to be returned (submitted) to the Holy, present and living Imam. Dashond is submitted in terms of income, time and secular as well as spiritual knowledge which results to the purification of one's wealth, life and knowledge, respectively.
Please use the search utility on the following page to extract all the references on dashond in Anant Akhado: http://www.salmanspiritual.com/anant_akhado.cfm

"It is said that "God says, O son of Adam, if you follow me I shall make you like me. You will be perpetually alive and death will not affect you. You will be powerful and your power will never decrease. You will be wealthy and you will never become poor." Hadith-e-Qudsi quoted by Grand Missionary Al-Muayyad-fid-din Al-Shiraz in Lecture number 5, The Real Enjoyment in the World.
He further explains "just as man's physical life on earth depends on his physical knowledge of things, in the same way his spiritual life depends on the spiritual knowledge which he can acquire only from the Prophet, the 'wasee' and the Imams who are 'Arbab-ul-wahi wa taa-ed'."
